VIDEO: An Azerbaijani Was Behind the Wheel. Details on the Yerevan-Batumi Minibus Accident
New information has emerged regarding the accident near Tbilisi, according to SHANTNEWS.am. We spoke with the founder and director of the passenger transport company, Ghevond Mkrtchyan. He confirmed that the impacting vehicle had crossed into the opposite lane. Furthermore, he stated that the driver was Azerbaijani, who had fallen asleep, which led to the accident. The driver has admitted his guilt and is now under arrest.
Ghevond Mkrtchyan also added that the driver of the Armenian minibus underwent a medical examination and has no issues. The vehicle was also in proper condition. They are engaged in tourism, which differs from regular transportation in that a license is not required.
