When Will Gyumri Be Free from Shacks and Poorly Maintained Streets?
Today, on August 25, reporters inquired with Tavush Governor Tigran Petrosyan about when Gyumri will finally be free from shacks and poorly maintained streets.
According to Tigran Petrosyan, there is currently no specific timeline for the removal of the shacks. An operational group has been established under the Prime Minister's directive, which presented factual data regarding temporary shelters in three regions of Armenia at the end of June.
In Shirak Province, there are 3,600 temporary shelters, with 2,800 of them located in the city of Gyumri, of which at least 2,500 are occupied.
