_VIDEO: Protest Outside Sanitek Parking Lot by Local Residents_
Former member of the Yerevan Council, Sona Aghakyan, presented a live stream on Facebook featuring the complaints of residents from Shiraki 3rd Lane in the Shengavit community. These residents live just 5 meters away from the Sanitek company's parking lot and are expressing their discontent over their inability to open windows during the summer heat due to pervasive foul odors filling their homes.
"Once again, we hear about a Yerevan citizen living in stench. Residents of Shiraki 3rd Lane, living merely 5 meters away from the Sanitek parking lot, find it intolerable to live amidst dirt, garbage, and unpleasant smells. In summer, they are deprived of the chance to open windows. Can you imagine, dear compatriots, the foul odors infiltrate their homes through the windows, while the relevant authorities exhibit extraordinary and unprecedented inaction," Aghakyan wrote.
