Famous Builder and Philanthropist Vardges Artsruni Passes Away in Moscow
Famous builder and philanthropist Vardges Artsruni has passed away at the age of 77 after a long illness in Moscow.
Vardges Artsruni was born on October 31, 1941, in Kislovodsk. After his service, he enrolled in the Moscow Construction Institute. By 1979, he was already holding senior positions in the construction sector.
In 1988, Vardges Artsruni participated in the recovery efforts following the earthquake in northern Armenia. Since 1991, he had served as the deputy head of the construction department of the Moscow government.
Throughout his career, he provided significant support for the reconstruction of the Lazarev Institute building in Moscow.
A farewell ceremony for Vardges Artsruni will be held on August 24 at the complex of the Armenian Apostolic Church in Moscow.
