Amulsar Operations Will Impact the Economy, Says Janzhugazyan
Armenia's Minister of Finance Atom Janzhugazyan addressed journalists after a cabinet meeting today and discussed the potential impact of the Amulsar mine not operating on the state budget's revenue.
Janzhugazyan noted that it cannot be said that this would be a "blow" to the budget; however, it will have a certain effect.
"The forecasts for state budget revenues are not made separately by organization; they are based on statistics and macro indicators. Therefore, it is not appropriate to consider the influence of a single organization in terms of its impacts, as the effect of both operating and not operating would be similar," he stated.
