No Armenian Citizens Among the Injured in Odessa Hotel Fire, Says Ambassador
On the night of August 16/17, a severe fire broke out at the "Tokyo Star" hotel in Odessa, resulting in at least 8 fatalities and 10 injuries. This was reported by Tigran Seryan, the Armenian Ambassador to Ukraine, on his Facebook page.
"The Armenian Consulate in Odessa is in contact with local police and emergency services. According to police reports, there are no Armenian citizens or Armenians among the injured. The identities of some of the deceased have yet to be confirmed," wrote the ambassador.
