Nine freight wagons loaded with ore derail in Hrazdan
On August 16, an emergency incident occurred in the Kotayk region. According to Shamshyan.com, at around 06:55, at the 62nd kilometer section of the Sevan-Yerevan railway, a train driven by 60-year-old Arsen T. from Yerevan, which was composed of nine wagons loaded with ore and pulled by electric locomotive number 1340, derailed and tilted under still unknown circumstances.
Preliminary information indicates that there are no casualties. The train belongs to the Yerevan locomotive depot of the South Caucasian Railway Open Joint-Stock Company. For more details, read the original source.
