Two-Year-Old Child Poisoned in Artsakh After Mother Mistakenly Administers Wrong Medication
On August 15, a report was received from the 'Arevik' children's medical center to the Artsakh police department in Stepanakert indicating that at 11:30 PM the same day, they admitted a two-year-old child, identified as H. A., born in 2017, with a case of drug poisoning. This was confirmed by the Artsakh Ministry of Emergency Situations.
A police officer determined that H. A. suffered the poisoning around 10:00 PM on August 15, after ingesting half a tablet of 'Eglonil' medication, which was mistakenly given by the child's mother, L. A., born in 1994, instead of 'Suprastin'.
A forensic examination has been ordered, and the Stepanakert police department is conducting an investigation.
