A321 Aircraft with Burning Engine Makes Emergency Landing in Russia's Corn Field
A321 aircraft of Russian airline Ural Airlines made an emergency landing this morning in the Moscow region after taking off from Zhukovsky Airport, according to meduza.io.
There were 234 people on board, including a 7-member crew. The aircraft collided with a flock of birds, which resulted in both engines being shut down due to birds entering them. One of the engines caught fire.
As a result of the emergency landing, 10 individuals were injured, including 3 children, and all the injured have been hospitalized. Fortunately, there are no serious injuries.
The remaining passengers will be transported to the airport by bus.
