Tourism Committee Aware of Armenian Tourists' Situation in Egypt

The State Committee of Tourism of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Armenia is aware of the issue regarding 10 tourists who found themselves on the streets of Sharm El Sheikh and is currently trying to clarify the details related to the incident. This information was provided to Armenpress by the committee.

News spread on the social media platform Facebook indicating that the 10 tourists were stranded and discovered upon arrival that they could only stay in the reserved hotel for 3 days.

Armenpress contacted one of the travel agencies that sold the packages, 'Info Travel.' The travel agency responded that the issue has already been resolved and all tourists are now at the hotel. 'The problem was related to the hotel reservation and was not due to Armenian parties. The issue was in Sharm El Sheikh, but everything has already been resolved,' the travel agency stated.
