Loaded Pistol Found in Luggage by Zvartnots Employees

Zvartnots Airport reports that security personnel at the airport have discovered a loaded pistol in a passenger’s luggage.

On August 8, 2019, around 08:05, during the inspection of luggage from flight Yerevan-Paris 1061, security staff identified a loaded pistol of the type "EKOL Special 99, 99mm, EU-1520760" with 6 rounds. According to established procedures, a relevant report was prepared, and the passenger along with the found pistol was handed over to the police of the Zvartnots operational department.
