Section of Glass Bottle Factory on Yerevan-Sevan Road Closed Due to Explosion, Opposite Lane Becomes Two-Way, Says Edgar Janoyan
An explosion occurred in the section of the Yerevan-Sevan road near the glass bottle factory, resulting in damage to two vehicles and the asphalt on that section of the road. Edgar Janoyan, the Deputy Head of the Information Department of the RA Police, stated this in a conversation with Tert.am.
“There are no casualties from the explosion. Police are providing security in that area, and the lane from Yerevan to Sevan is closed. The opposite lane has become two-way. The circumstances of the incident are being clarified, and a preliminary investigation is underway,” he said.
