2 Injured Soldiers in Car Accident in Syunik Province

On August 1, a car accident occurred in Syunik Province. Around 15:30, at the 204 km mark of the Yerevan-Meghri highway, at the intersection of the Sisian-Ishkhanasar road, a collision took place between a Lexus driven by 32-year-old V.H., a resident of Kajaran, and a Vaz 2106 driven by 45-year-old H.H., a resident of the village of Angehakot.

According to reports from Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, passengers in the Vaz, including 30-year-old M.A. and 3-year-old E.E., as well as 36-year-old V.A. from Angehakot village, suffered injuries and were transported to the Sisian medical center. Hours later, the driver H.H. and another passenger, 39-year-old S.M. from Angehakot village, were also taken to the same medical center.

Sources indicate that driver H.H. and injured passenger S.M. are serving as contracted soldiers in the RA Ministry of Defense's N military unit.
