Who is the Supreme Court Official Arrested for Bribery
The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports that new details have emerged regarding the criminal case of bribing an official of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Armenia, which was uncovered by the National Security Service in a civil case.
Specifically, it has come to our attention which judge's ongoing case was subject to interference. According to our information, this concerns Armen Harutyunyan, the head of the Criminal Cases Office of the Supreme Court's staff, who is implicated along with a former lawyer in this bribery case.
Harutyunyan oversees criminal matters at the Supreme Court, and the bribery incident is linked not to just one civil case but to attempts to interfere in two civil cases. One of the civil cases involved is associated with a civil case being reported by Supreme Court Judge Surik Antonian.
