Car Accident on the Getap-Martuni Highway: Injured Person Hospitalized at Yeghgnadzor Medical Center

On July 15, at 21:54, the "911" service received a report of an accident on the Getap-Martuni highway, with casualties requiring the assistance of rescuers.

A team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations' fire and rescue squad was dispatched to the scene. It was determined that at the 4th km of the Getap-Martuni highway, two vehicles collided: a "VAZ-2121" (driver A.E., born in 1978) and a "VAZ-2109" (driver A.S., born in 1996).

Before the rescuers arrived, the driver of the "VAZ-2121", passenger Y.E. (born in 2002), and passenger R.S. (born in 1999) from the "VAZ-2109" were transported to the Yeghgnadzor Medical Center, where doctors assessed their health condition as satisfactory.

The rescuers brought the driver of the "VAZ-2109" to the ambulance. The injured person was hospitalized at the Yeghgnadzor Medical Center, with doctors recording their health condition as satisfactory.

Rescuers disabled the cars, closed the gas tank valves, moved the "VAZ-2109" to a tow truck, and conducted road cleaning operations.
