Armenian Citizen Arrested in Georgia for Transporting Radioactive Material to Russia
The State Security Service of Georgia has arrested an Armenian citizen on charges of illegal handling of radioactive materials and violating customs regulations. As reported by Новости Грузия, the investigation revealed that the driver of a cargo minibus, who was an Armenian national, attempted to transport 'thorium' from Armenia to the Russian Federation through Georgian territory.
A criminal case has been initiated.
