Collision in Yerevan Involving Opel and IZH Loaded with Bread Leaves Injured

In Yerevan, a major traffic accident occurred today, July 12, around 08:10 at the intersection of Tigran Mets Boulevard and Nar-Dos Street. The accident involved a 35 VM 455 Opel Zafira driven by 28-year-old Arman S. from the Lori region and a 521 LD 61 IZH 27175 driven by 25-year-old Gevorg Kh. from Sevan.

According to Shamshyan.com, as a result of the accident, the driver of the IZH was taken to Erebuni Medical Center with injuries. Citizens were the first to provide assistance to the injured, followed by the firefighter rescue team from the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The collision resulted in the IZH overturning, and the vehicles ended up in an area designated for pedestrians. Rescuers deactivated the vehicles, closed the gas tank, and cordoned off the area.

According to sources, the overturned vehicle was registered under the “Sevan” bakery and was loaded with bread in its cargo compartment.
