Identity of Woman Who Died in Tragic Accident Revealed

The identity of one of the passengers who died in the tragic car accident on the Zod Bridge in the Ararat region has been revealed. This was reported by the head of the Public Relations Department of the Investigative Committee of Armenia, Naira Harutyunyan.

According to the forensic genetic examination, the deceased was identified as Sofia Voskanyan, a resident of the village of Yeraskh, born in 1964. As a result of the accident, the driver of the ‘GAZEL’ vehicle and five of his passengers died on the spot (out of 6 bodies, one is male and five are female). The other passengers in the ‘GAZEL’, as well as the driver and passengers of the ‘Toyota Hilux’ vehicle, a total of 13 people, were transferred to medical centers with various bodily injuries.
