Emergency Incident in Kotayk Province: After the Accident, a Car Ends Up on Supermarket Steps

Today, on July 8, an accident occurred in Kotayk Province. Around 21:30, the driver of a Mitsubishi Pajero io with license plate 35 GV 986 collided with a parked VAZ 2106, license plate 34 NA 927, near the Abovyan 'post' close to the 'Gai Supermarket' on the Yerevan-Sevan highway. According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, there are no reported injuries, but the Mitsubishi partially ended up on the supermarket steps after moving forward.

The police are working to identify the drivers involved. Preliminary information suggests that a woman was behind the wheel of the Mitsubishi; however, a man approached the police claiming that he was the driver. The police are verifying the authenticity of this information.
