Veterans of the Great Patriotic War Honorarium to Increase from 50,000 to 100,000 Dram

Today, during a government meeting, a decision was made to increase the amount of the honorarium for veterans of the Great Patriotic War. Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Zaruhi Batoyan stated that the proposed honorarium amount is set to be 100,000 dram. It should be noted that currently, the allocated amount for the honorarium is 50,000 dram per individual.

Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan welcomed the initiative and inquired about the number of veterans involved. In response, Batoyan indicated that the initiative pertains to 397 veterans.
