The President of the Deaf Union Has Filed a Lawsuit Against the Minister of Justice

According to the newspaper "Zhoghovurd", "The newly appointed Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia, Rustam Badasyan, has been sued. It became known to the newspaper that Grigor Grigoryan filed a lawsuit in the Administrative Court on July 1, demanding that the court compel Minister of Justice Rustam Badasyan to annul the decision made on June 20.

It should be noted that Grigor Grigoryan is the president of the Deaf Union. Additionally, it has been a long time since dark clouds gathered over the head of the Armenian Deaf Union. The deaf community is demanding the resignation of the union's president, while Grigor Grigoryan sees no grounds for leaving his position.

Incidentally, the issue surrounding the Armenian Deaf Union led to the highest disciplinary sanction being applied to Judge Arayik Melkumyan of the First Instance General Jurisdiction Court of Yerevan by the Supreme Judicial Council on February 14, 2019, resulting in the termination of his powers."
