Georgian Armenian Injured in Head Transfer to Hospital Room
On June 20, following the protests and clashes in Tbilisi, 46-year-old David Grigoryan fell into a coma, and his health condition was assessed as serious.
The Armenian Embassy in Georgia reports that its diplomats visited the hospital yesterday. The diplomats met with the chief physician and the doctors treating David Grigoryan. According to them, Grigoryan’s health condition is stable, and he will be transferred from the intensive care unit to a regular hospital room.
It is recalled that a rubber bullet struck David Grigoryan’s head, penetrating his skull and damaging his brain. Fragments of bone dispersed within the brain have further complicated his condition. The family of the injured patient was informed only after Grigoryan underwent surgery and was transferred from Aladashvili Clinic to the regional hospital.
