The Deputy Tried to Discredit My Reputation: Levon Yolyan

The President of the Court of Audit, Levon Yolyan, responded during his concluding speech in Parliament to a statement made by Arman Babajanyan, a member of the 'Enlightened Armenia' faction. Yolyan noted that due to his commitment to correctness and respect for the parliamentary podium, he would not go into detail about the deputy's remarks.

“The speech contained distorted facts, through which an attempt was made to cast a shadow on the reputation of the Court of Audit and mine. It is currently difficult to say what the motive is and on whose orders, however, I will note that this speech contains lies,” he stated.

Yolyan addressed the points that are false and do not correspond to reality, promising to disseminate information related to those facts. He emphasized that considering the defamatory elements present in the speech, he was compelled to respond.
