David Tonoyan Meets with German Ambassador
The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, David Tonoyan, received the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Armenia, Matthias Kiesler, in connection with the conclusion of the latter's term of office. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense's press service.
The meeting took place today, June 18. It was noted that the Minister expressed gratitude to Ambassador Kiesler for the effective partnership and support in the implementation of projects within the frameworks of bilateral and multilateral cooperation. He wished him success in his future endeavors.
Ambassador Kiesler also expressed his gratitude for the collaboration and mentioned that Armenian-German relations are at a high level. The ambassador emphasized that the German side values its cooperation with Armenia in the field of defense and expressed confidence that it will continue to develop.
During the meeting, regional security issues and other matters of mutual interest were also discussed.
