Manvel Grigoryan Will Not Be Released: The Decision of the Appeals Court
The judge of the Appeals Criminal Court, Narine Hovakimyan, has just returned from the deliberation room and decided to reject the defense’s appeal regarding the continuation of General Manvel Grigoryan's detention, as reported by News.am.
It is noteworthy that the defense is contesting the decision made by the judge of Yerevan's General Jurisdiction Court, Mnatsakan Matinyan, to uphold Grigoryan's detention on May 2. The defense team had simultaneously requested that bail be set as a measure of restraint, leaving the amount to the discretion of the court.
