Identity of Person Who Assaulted Minor on Chekhov Street Revealed

A Facebook user reported an incident involving the assault of a minor on Chekhov Street in the Shengavit administrative district. The case received significant attention on social media.

The police announced that on June 11, at 11:15 AM, they received a report from a hospital stating that an ambulance had taken a 16-year-old boy, who lived in the Silikyan district, to the hospital with a diagnosis of "polytrauma." Officers from the juvenile affairs and domestic violence prevention departments went to the hospital to gather information from the victim.

A forensic examination was ordered. During the preparation of materials regarding the incident, Shengavit police uncovered the circumstances of the event and identified the person who inflicted bodily harm on the young man. Following explanatory work, an 18-year-old young man voluntarily came to the police station and provided an explanation regarding the incident. Preliminary findings indicate that the two young men had quarreled over household issues.
