Major Car Accident in Gegharkunik Region: Vehicle Overturns and Lands in Field, Injuries Reported

Today, June 11, a major car accident occurred in the Gegharkunik region. Around 14:40, 56-year-old Armen Khachatryan from Vardenis city lost control of his Audi vehicle, license plate 35 VP 196, on the 64th kilometer of the Sevan-Martuni-Getak highway, causing it to veer off the roadway and overturn, landing in a field.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, the driver, Armen Khachatryan, along with passengers, 83-year-old Rafik Khachatryan, 25-year-old Armine Khachatryan, and 50-year-old Susanna Khachatryan, were transported to the Martuni medical center with bodily injuries.
