Earthquake 15 km Southwest of Barda City in Azerbaijan
On June 9, at 22:23 local time (18:23 GMT), a 3.1 magnitude earthquake was recorded at geographical coordinates 40.250° N and 47.030° E, 15 km southwest of Barda city in Azerbaijan, by the seismic protection territorial service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia. The epicenter of the quake occurred at a depth of 10 km, with an intensity of 4 on the scale at the epicenter.
According to preliminary information, the earthquake was felt in the Artsakh area, particularly in the town of Martakert, with an intensity of 2-3.
