Opel Goes Off the Road in Jermuk and Rolls 5 Meters, Injuries Reported
On June 8, at 18:02, the Ministry of Emergency Situations received a report via the 911 service that an accident had occurred on the road leading to the Jermuk waterfall in the Vayots Dzor province, with injuries reported and assistance from rescuers required.
A firefighting and rescue team was dispatched to the scene from the Emergency Situations Ministry. It was found that an Opel vehicle (driver: A. Sh., born 1987) had gone off the roadway on Charentsi Street in Jermuk, rolled approximately 5 meters, and ended up on the next turn.
Rescuers approached the victims with an ambulance, and they (A. Sh., R. S., K. H., and A. Sh.) were later hospitalized at the Vayk Hospital. Rescuers also disconnected the vehicle from the power supply and closed the gas cylinder valve.
