I Have Resigned from the Position of Minister. Artak Zeynalyan
The Minister of Justice, Artak Zeynalyan, has submitted his resignation.
He made a statement in which he said:
“Dear friends, my beloved people
I have submitted my resignation from the position of Minister of Justice. Taking on the ministerial mandate during this historic period for our people was a highly responsible act, yet it was also aimed at addressing the legal issues that arose during my work as a human rights defender step by step.
I am satisfied with this step, and I thank the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, for proposing my candidacy for the position of Minister of Justice. I also express my gratitude to the staff of the Ministry for our joint interesting, fruitful, and responsible work. My thanks go to the international partners and representatives of civil society for our collaborative efforts.
I am confident that things will be fine, ... however, if they are not fine, then they will be very good.
Respectfully, Artak.”
