We Oppose the 10 Million Dram Fine: Response from Gazprom Armenia
We oppose the Public Services Regulatory Commission's imposition of a 10 million dram fine on Gazprom Armenia and consider this fine unjustified. This was stated by the Deputy General Director of Gazprom Armenia, Ashot Hakobyan, during a conversation with reporters today.
"Throughout all these operations, the actions of Gazprom Armenia have exclusively been aimed at serving the interests of subscribers," he emphasized.
Recall that, according to the annual work program of the Public Services Regulatory Commission of the Republic of Armenia, monitoring was carried out at Gazprom Armenia from February 28 to March 6 of this year to verify the reliability of information regarding the company’s new connection processes. The monitoring revealed that in some cases, the provisions of the rules for the supply and use of natural gas established by the Commission were not followed, as well as the requirements of the conditions of the natural gas distribution license established by the Commission. The PSRC decided to fine the company 10,000,000 drams.
