Those at the Table Are Instigating from Below, Claiming This Government Is Selling Lands: Nikol Pashinyan

“I personally handed over the documents regarding the Nagorno-Karabakh negotiation process to the authorities of Artsakh; they were not aware of what had been negotiated before my time. I asked them five times if they were informed, and they were not. But they engage, even personally posting on social media, claiming that Nikol is selling lands,” stated the Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, during a conversation with journalists today, addressing his statement regarding treacherous forces that are trying to sow discord between the two states.

The Prime Minister noted that there have been several meetings with the military-political leadership of Artsakh and Armenia, where he presented his vision for resolving the issue of Artsakh and inquired whether there were any grievances regarding his proposed vision, and whether they agreed or not, and it turned out that everyone was in agreement.

Pashinyan remarked that it is after this agreement that those at the table are instigating from below, claiming that this government is selling lands.

Regarding the activities of the investigative committee examining the circumstances of the April war, Pashinyan stated that there were many different interpretations. However, this committee is being established to clarify whether our Armed Forces were adequately prepared for developments, and not to impose punishment. The Prime Minister added that, of course, if it becomes evident that some individuals did not fulfill their obligations, they will be punished if necessary, but the purpose of the committee is to ensure that such a situation does not recur.
