Car Accident on the Garni Highway: 4 Injured

Today, on May 31, a major car accident occurred in the Kotayk region. According to Shamshyan.com, around 12:20 PM, vehicles with license plates 35 OC 116 (Opel) and 36 DL 490 (Mercedes) collided at the beginning of the village of Hatzavan along the Yerevan-Garni-Geghard highway.

Photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports from the scene that as a result of the crash, four people were transported to Saint Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center. Villagers were the first to provide assistance to the injured, and the doctors from the Garni village medical clinic responded promptly. Following the collision, both vehicles veered off the road.
