Trump Ready to Negotiate with Iran
US President Donald Trump believes that Iran wants to negotiate with the United States, and therefore, if Tehran is willing, Washington would agree to dialogue. The American leader expressed this during a conversation with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe in Tokyo.
"I believe that Iran wants to negotiate with us. If Iran wants to negotiate with us, we would like that too. Let’s see what happens; no one wants terrible things to happen," Trump assured.
Earlier, Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif stated that his country does not want a war and expressed confidence that armed conflict with the United States is not anticipated.
