Serzh Sargsyan Sends Letter to Joseph Daul

The president of the Republican Party of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, has congratulated Joseph Daul, the president of the European People's Party, on the party's success in the European Parliament elections. This was reported by the Republican Party's office.

In the congratulatory message, it is specifically stated:

President of the European People's Party,
Dear Mr. Daul,
Please accept my warm congratulations on the European People's Party's success in the European Parliament elections.

Citizens of Europe have actively voted in favor of the experience and perspectives of the EPP, entrusting our political family with the honorable responsibility of building a better Europe. I have no doubt that remaining the largest political group in the European Parliament, the EPP will continue to contribute to the advancement and progress of the European Union in the coming years.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for the support provided by the EPP in recent years towards the building of democratic institutions in Armenia and strengthening regional security.

It is also noteworthy to mention the EPP's support for Armenia's rapprochement with the European family, as well as the close cooperation in the international arena. Through targeted and continuous efforts, we have managed to enrich the Armenia-EU cooperation agenda with new initiatives and projects, which undoubtedly stemmed from the fundamental interests of our peoples and contributed to stability and security in the South Caucasus.

I am confident that the European Union will continue its progress and development, and the new parliament will make its constructive contribution to the strengthening of peace and stability on the continent.
