Anna Hakobyan on Her Son's Service in Artsakh
The wife of the Prime Minister of Armenia, Anna Hakobyan, discussed with journalists the media reports that her son, Ashot Pashinyan, has been moved from Artsakh to Sovetashen to continue his mandatory military service in Yerevan.
“Ashot, along with his fellow soldiers, has come to attend training sessions and upgrade his skills in the appropriate military unit. This is temporary and he will return. I do not have any information that the situation is tense. Ashot's move to Yerevan has nothing to do with that; he will continue to serve as he has been in Nagorno-Karabakh,” Anna Hakobyan said in response to questions about whether the situation on the border is tense, which would necessitate their son's transfer to Yerevan.
She emphasized that Ashot Pashinyan serves just like any other soldier.
