Samvel Babayan Sues Artsakh Police
Former commander of the Artsakh Defense Army, Samvel Babayan has filed a lawsuit against the police for removing him from the registry in Artsakh. Babayan made this statement during a press briefing with journalists.
“The case is in court, and on May 23rd, a trial will take place in Stepanakert; we will see what response they provide. We are meeting with citizens and preparing for a petition drive,” Babayan stated.
When asked whether he considers it possible for a change of power to occur in Artsakh, Babayan said that it would become clear after the meetings with the public.
“We will hold rallies, we will speak, and then we will inform you. People are being told that if they take any steps, they will lose their jobs; I consider this to be natural, as these individuals want to cling to their positions by all means,” Babayan added.
