Video: We Will Request a Case Against NSS Employees and Arthur Vanetsyan - Daniel Ioannisyan

“When the NSS sends a demand for denial to Garagin Miskaryan, a member of the ‘Citizen's Decision’ party, for a Facebook post about Vanetsyan, we clearly see both a violation of the personal data protection law and an abuse of administrative resources,” said Daniel Ioannisyan, the head of the ‘Informed Citizens’ NGO, during a live Facebook broadcast today.

According to him, their legal advisors are currently discussing the extent to which this abuse of administrative resources constitutes an abuse of official position.

“If we conclude that there is a basis for a criminal offense, we will request the Special Investigative Service to open a case against these NSS employees, and possibly against Arthur Vanetsyan as well, but that is still a matter for the lawyers’ discussion,” Ioannisyan stated.
