Details: Young Man Killed in Yerevan Had Been at a Party with Friends Before Incident

On the night of May 1, a large gathering preceded the murder that took place in Yerevan. Sputnik Armenia has revealed certain details about the crime.

The Grigoryan brothers were attending a party in the Armavir region before the incident occurred. It all started during the celebration. An unwarranted argument broke out, accompanied by insults. In an attempt to clarify the situation, the parties involved gathered in the yard of the Shahamiryan 1/1 building in Yerevan’s Shengavit community.

The dispute escalated, resulting in a stabbing. The wounded brothers managed, with great difficulty and while losing blood, to reach the street from the rear of the building and hailed a passing taxi, asking the driver to rush them to the hospital. On the way to the Shengavit Medical Center, the younger brother lost consciousness and passed away shortly after being hospitalized.

The elder brother, who was in extremely critical condition, was transported by ambulance from Shengavit Medical Center to Erebuni Medical Center, where he is currently being treated.
