Defense Attorney of David Sanasaryan on Minister's Testimony

Aravot.am reports that the former head of the Special Investigative Service, David Sanasaryan's attorney Arsen Sardarayan neither confirms nor denies the news that Health Minister Arsen Torosyan has testified against David Sanasaryan, and they have also faced each other.

“The things that were said are surprising; this implies that someone has violated the secrecy of the pre-trial investigation. And if there is a violation of pre-trial secrecy, it does not mean that we have discussed the details regarding others—who has given what testimony, who spoke about what; this is exactly the pre-trial secret.”

“If we start discussing people's names and testimonies, it means we will violate the pre-trial confidentiality, which is a prosecutable offense. We may be able to mediate with the prosecuting authority, inquire what this is, where such information is coming from, discuss it with the prosecuting authority, and understand what is happening,” the attorney told the media.
