Snow Falling in Some Regions of Armenia: Current Road Conditions

The Ministry of Emergency Situations reports that there are closed and difficult-to-pass roads in Armenia.

The Vardenyats Mountain Pass and the Sotk-Karvachar road are particularly difficult to navigate.

There are spots of black ice and fog on the Sotk-Karvachar and certain roads in the Syunik region.

Snow is falling in the cities of Gavar and Chambarak in the Gegharkunik region, as well as in the area known as Saravan-'Zanger' in the Syunik region.

There is a blizzard in the Saravan-'Zanger' area.

According to the Road Department of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Stepantsminda-Lars road is open for all types of vehicles.
