26-Year-Old Driver Flips BMW and Ends Up in Field, Injured

A serious car accident occurred in the Kotayk region. Yesterday, on March 30, at approximately 5:50 PM, a 26-year-old resident of Nor Geghi village, Ervand Mkrtchyan, lost control of his BMW vehicle with transit number 6172 HM. The incident took place on the 1st kilometer of the Abovyan-Nor Hachn highway, where he veered off the road, flipped over, and ended up in a field.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan, as a result of the accident, E. Mkrtchyan was taken to the Abovyan medical center with bodily injuries. Officers from the first platoon of the third detachment of the second police company of the traffic police arrived at the scene, led by senior investigator Vahe Harutyunyan, who is currently preparing materials regarding the incident.
