Stolen Payment Terminal Found in Tokhmakh's 'Salty Lakes'

Today, March 23, an extraordinary incident occurred in Yerevan. At around 11:20 AM, the police received a report regarding a suspicious object in the 'Salty Lakes' located in Tokhmakh.

According to Shamshyan.com, the police discovered a payment terminal in the specified lake and appealed to the emergency situations ministry's rescue service for assistance in retrieving it.

Rescue workers from a special rescue unit arrived promptly and, with the help of a diver and a crane, successfully lifted the payment terminal from the water.

Sources indicate that the terminal was stolen by unknown individuals from the Nor Nork administrative district on March 13 of this year. Following the incident, materials are being prepared in the investigative department of the Erebuni police station.
