Heavy Rain Expected: Weather Forecast in Armenia

From the afternoon of August 30 and during the night and afternoon of August 31, short-term rain and thunderstorms are expected in most regions, while from September 1-4, isolated areas may experience similar weather. On August 30-31 and September 1-2, particularly intense rainfall is anticipated in some regions, with a possibility of hail.

The wind will be coming from the southeast and east at 4-7 m/s, with gusts of 20-25 m/s during thunderstorms.

Temperatures are expected to gradually decrease by 4-6 degrees Celsius during the daytime hours of August 30-31. In Yerevan, short-term rain and thunderstorms are forecasted from the afternoon of August 30, and during the night and afternoon of August 31 and September 1-2. From September 3-4, dry weather is anticipated. Wind gusts of 18-23 m/s are expected during thunderstorms and in the evening hours.
