Death Threats Against Justice Minister Artak Zaynalyan: Suspect Identified
Investigations are underway in the investigative department of the Novemberyan division of the police regarding the death threats made against the Minister of Justice of Armenia, Artak Zaynalyan.
According to Shamshyan.com, during a press briefing on March 19, the Minister of Justice, A. Zaynalyan, was asked questions regarding Azerbaijani citizen Eyvin Arif Ogly Ibrahimov, who was arrested on suspicion of illegal crossing of the Armenian state border, among other issues to which the minister responded.
Following this, an interview was published on A. Zaynalyan’s Facebook page. Subsequently, a 35-year-old resident of the Tavush province, Khoren A., sent comments to the minister, which included death threats against him and threatened to use violence against the minister as a representative of the government in connection to his official duties.
Yesterday, before noon, Novemberyan police were searching for Khoren A.
