Which Medical Centers Will Provide Free Surgeries for Malignant Diseases

The Ministry of Health has announced that contracts have been signed with medical organizations to provide free surgical treatment for malignant diseases.

Earlier, Health Minister Arsen Torosyan declared that surgical treatment for malignant diseases would be free for the entire population, as it has been removed from the list of services reimbursed through co-payment mechanisms. Certain documentation was necessary for organizing the process, and that has now been realized.

From now on, citizens can apply for free surgeries for malignant diseases under the state order based on medical indications to the following medical organizations: Vladimir Avagyan Medical Center, Nairi Medical Center, Artmed Medical Center, Natali-Farm LLC Astghik Medical Center, Shengavit Medical Center, V.A. Fanarjan National Oncological Center, Surb Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center, Gyumri Oncological Dispensary, Surb Astvatsamayr Medical Center, and Vanadzor Medical Center.

It is worth noting that today the press reported that the Ministry of Health discussed issues related to free cancer treatment yesterday with a group of prominent oncologists. The doctors critically assessed the announced program, stating that it is unrealistic and that a collapse within the system is expected by at least September, as the stipulated price list would not allow for the implementation of the state order. It was mentioned that
