Fatal Hit-and-Run in Ararat: Deceased's Relatives Attempted to Set Vehicle on Fire

On February 18, a fatal hit-and-run incident occurred in the Ararat region.

According to shamshyan.com, at around 19:00, the driver of a Mercedes vehicle with license plate 35 XS 570 struck a pedestrian on the main road of Darakert village.

The victim succumbed to injuries at the scene.

The police received information about the incident from the operational management center of the traffic police, and significant numbers of officers were dispatched to the location due to reports that the deceased's relatives had attempted to set the vehicle on fire.
