VIDEO: Tensions Rise at N12 Polyclinic Due to Discovered Violations
Tehmine Vardanyan, a member of the Yerevan City Council faction 'Bright Armenia', announced via a Facebook live stream today about the tense situation at the N12 polyclinic in the Avan administrative district. She stated that numerous employees have gathered there, suspecting that the director, who has served for approximately 22 years, was forced to submit his resignation.
“Based on my impression and conviction, all employees love the director, listen to him, and support him. A huge number of employees have gathered, some are crying, and some are in tears. I ask the mayor, Hayk Marutyan, to once again thoroughly investigate and instruct the relevant department heads to address this issue,” said the city council member, adding that the employees are demanding the return of the resignation letter.
According to Armtimes.com, the director of the N12 polyclinic, Armen Vardumyan, submitted his resignation two days ago. This was done voluntarily and followed inspections conducted by the city hall, which revealed numerous violations related to medical services at the polyclinic.
It was stated that the polyclinic director acknowledged the discovered violations and decided to submit his resignation. Under the law, he can review this decision and withdraw his resignation within three days.
