Tsarukyan Not Planning to Vote in Favor of Government Program: Presents Reasons

“It's beautifully written, full of goodwill.” This was stated by Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party faction, during a briefing with reporters regarding the government program.

According to Tsarukyan, the program presented by the government does not imply an economic revolution.

“This program is not an economic revolution plan; if it does not change, we cannot vote in favor of it. For an economic revolution, financial sources, timelines, and mechanisms are necessary, which are absent here. Any government program must include funds; without that, there can be no economic growth,” Tsarukyan said.

He further noted that to attract investments, concrete indicators need to be presented; otherwise, no investor will come to Armenia and make investments.

“Investments cannot happen out of nowhere. We are not going to beg people to come and invest. For investments, laws and conditions need to change. Investors need to look at comparative conditions in other countries... ours must be better,” he added.
