6th Grade Students Organize Petition to Save Classmate's Beloved Dog

Yesterday, a 6th-grade girl ran up to a reporter from Hraparak in the yard of Yerevan's School No. 7 named after V. Mayakovsky, asking for her signature on a piece of paper in support of her classmate Natalie's beloved dog. This information is reported by armtimes.com.

Her friends then joined her, each collecting signatures on separate papers. The children had written almost no text on the pages torn from their notebooks, and the signatures collected did not include any names, so the students elaborated on the reason for their action verbally, stating that residents of Natalie's neighborhood were threatening to kill the dog, and they wanted to fight against it.

The news outlet reports that upon realizing they were speaking to a journalist, the children's eyes lit up. They evidently hoped that the opportunity to protect the endangered pet would increase.
